Brand Guidelines

The ĢƵios Identity Guide is a guideline to how ĢƵios represents itself visually to the community and to the general public. The parameters in this guide are our brand roadmaphelping us to present a common face to the world while giving us the flexibility required to meet many different needs.

ĢƵios was established in 1927.

It is a private, non-profit, accredited, residential college located in Atherton, California.

In the Heart of Silicon Valley

ĢƵios location in Silicon Valley, one of the world most entrepreneurial and innovative geographical areas, has enabled the college to create a valuable market niche for itself locally as well as globally.

Our President

Steven A. Weiner

ĢƵios President Steven A. Weiner obtained his BS from Northeastern University and his MBA from the University of Chicago. Following graduate school, he worked for the University of Chicago for sixteen years, the last eight of which were in the role of Associate Dean and Principal Business Officer at the Pritzker School of Medicine. After Chicago, he spent ten years in the consulting world, first as Vice President & Division Manager for Science Applications International, and then as Vice President for First Consulting Group. He left First Consulting to co-found an open source medical software start-up company, which he sold just prior to his return to higher education at ĢƵios in 2013. When he not in his home on the ĢƵios campus in Atherton, he can be found tending a small vineyard and way too many olive trees on property he owns in Sonoma County.
